Hello! As a guest, the New Brunswick English Seventh-day Adventist Church, we want you to feel welcomed and wanted every time you worship with us. So come visit and see what a powerfuland significant time of praise, teaching, and fellowship we have here!

Here’s what you can expect on your first visit:

Our church does have a medium sized parking lot, however, it fills up fast. If you arrive early you will find a place to park. Parking is also available in front of the church on Livingston Avenue and adjacent side streets. All we ask is that you do not park in the driveways of our neighbors as we are located in the middle of a residential neighborhood.

As you enter the doors, a friendly person or two (we call them “greeters”) will hand you a bulletin. This bulletin contains the agenda for the day’s program as well as several announcements about what’s happening in the life of the church.

If you arrive between 9:30 am and 10:45 am you’ve come during what we call Sabbath School. This is a time of study and discussion in various smaller groups. We have classes for infants through adults. These classes meet throughout the church facility, and the greeters can help you find the right one for you or your children.

Our church family is friendly. We have a desire to get to know you when you visit. Please do not be alarmed if during our welcome and announcements someone asks you to stand and tell us who you are. Our intent is not to embarrass you, but to let you know how special you are, and how happy we will be to have you worshipping with us.

The main worship service begins at 11:00 am with a musical group leading out in congregational singing, which means we all sing together. During the following hour the participants listed in the bulletin will pray, read a portion of the Bible, tell a children’s story or sing. Finally, the pastor will present a message, or a sermon, which usually lasts between 30-45 minutes.

If you’re visiting on the first and third Saturday of the month, after the worship service comes a free and very tasty vegetarian lunch. The lunch is served in the fellowship hall downstairs. We invite you to stay and fellowship with up. Feel free to stay the afternoon. Check the bulletin for the afternoon programs.

We trust you will find your experience at our church warm, inviting, and helpful. We want to help you grow in your spiritual journey. If there is anything we can do, let us know.

Join us as we seek God together.
